Fun small guitar store on the main drag in Telluride. Eclectic collection of interesting guitars both used and new. Lots of good Martins, some nice Collings and various other cool things. Played a 12 fret Iris drednaught that was unusual. The staff has always been really friendly and let me play whatever I wanted. You can rent guitars during the bluegrass fest if you don’t want to bring your own but they are going to be built like tanks and not the greatest but price was super reasonable.
Looks like they get a good share of cool vintage stuff - I got to play a fun ‘47 000-18 that had a ton of character.

My old Martin was almost unplayable. I gig outside a lot and the weather and time have warped the wood. But Tom replaced the bridge with a bone saddle adjusted the action and glued down the large pieces of binding that were loose. He's a master. It's so nice to play again!
This place is a vibe! It’s everything you want in a local music store, fun and knowledgeable staff, people hanging out talking music and jamming…had to walk out with a new guitar. I will be a customer for life.
