We divorced and Jim has continued to do both our taxes, maintaining a relationship with each of us, and having shown true compassion during the process. I read a prior review here, and I was shocked to be reading about the man I know and consider a friend as well. Jim is caring and not “rude” in any way or form. I’ve never even seen an inkling of this in twenty years. He’s a very well respected member of the Steamboat community and has been for decades. I either don’t believe the reviewer, believe the reviewer mistook boisterousness for rudeness, or maybe she did, as she wrote, catch Jim on a bad day. We ALL have them. So why would someone, who admits this may simply be the result of someone’s bad day, decide to write a very negative review here? I’m the kind of person who hopes that on your next bad day, someone catches you, and writes publicly about you as well. Because I’m not a super nice person, I’m not like Jim, who probably read that, and knowing him, rationalized her nasty remarks as her being the one having a bad day, and let it roll off his back and genuinely felt sorry for her. He is the most positive and nice man. And....he gets me huge refunds every year! ?“
