Five stars is not enough.We have built 5 other projects and most of those builders were good, at least 1 was terrible, but none of them compare to Jeff Connett and the Spartan Construction team.Our 6 and 7th projects were built by Jeff over the last 5 years. First Jeff built a 3300 square foot garage / workshop for us in 2018 and then built our 6500 square foot retirement home in 2020-2021.What Jeff and Spartan Construction brings to the building process that no other builder has is “Jeff Connett”. Another example was when we were doing landscaping and our own landscaping company was falling behind laying sod, his entire team stopped what they were doing, jumped in and helped lay the sod.Again we totally recommend Jeff and his team. “I haven’t seen their finished product and have only worked with Wilson Roofing for estimates and inspections, but the morality and genuine advice given to me will have me recommending Wilson Roofing. Seth Wilson is a wealth of information. He quickly provided an estimate based off of photos I sent within 24 hours to help me meet an objection deadline on a home, and then followed up for an in person inspection for the objection resolution. He helped me from making a really terrible purchase, taking the time to explain architecture of homes, why it’s a bad idea to slap shingles on a 1908 home with 2x4s for rafters (hint- shingles hold snow, older homes aren’t built to hold snow and should only be reroofed with metal) and rather than just providing an estimate through the seller like the other roofing companies, he took the time to call me and explain in detail what issues and concerns he saw that couldn’t be detailed in a price estimate. The other local company just threw numbers and even quoted for shingles (which could have been very bad for the roof ) without mentioning the damage they saw that could have additional consequences or the improperly laid roofing that currently existed that was trapping moisture. Had Seth Wilson not taken the time to talk to me, I only would have had numbers and not the full information about what else maybe wrong with the roof after the metal was pulled off, and I would have moved forward with a home purchase that probably would have bankrupt me.
