“Alaina The Best!

Stopped by The Modern Hair Company for my monthly haircut. Guy trim at barbershops just hasn’t been cutting it. Since The COVID, the great barbers retired, closed up shop, or otherwise “disappeared.” I’ve been left with an unruly lock mess for too long. I’d go to the butch or bald cut, but haven’t really liked that look since my “induction” cut of yesteryear.

One of the owners, Alaina, says, come by—and gave me an appointment on the spot for near lunchtime in a couple of days. Well, alright! So, I showed.

I was really hesitant and anxious that the staff and clients would not like me with my lock mess. But, nope, clients and stylists were too busy to notice and stare. Alaina was ready, upbeat, and nice.

She cheerfully greeted me, heard the details of my lock mess, and what I thought might be better. She was positive she could do something better.

But, first a shampoo and conditioning. Well, I haven’t had anyone wash my hair since my mother did when I was a kid in the last century. (I have washed my hair myself since then, mind you). Well, a delightful experience!

Then, she combed it, brushed it, thinned it, shaped it, and concentrated on it a lot. Voila, perfect! With a touch of the right “goo,” and presto: a fantastic man cut! Locks perfect!

Yep, more bucks than a barbershop, but Wow, just WOW!

Heck, I might even consider getting a facelift too—need a surgeon for that one tho’ and some bigger Bucks. With my new modern look, I might survive in this century.
