loved the hot springs, the staff, the other guests, the views, and the vibe.im a boring middle aged engineer, but i cant describe the experience without using the word "magical".it was peaceful and wholesome, there were many other guests, but their presence didnt interfere with our enjoyment of the springs at all.people were clothed to their own comfort level, i didnt see anyone staring or behaving rudely about the nudity while we were there.we soaked in the morning, went siteseeing, then came back to soak after dinner.the steam from the pools obscured the stars a bit, but it was still the most marvelous time ive ever had relaxing and staring at the night sky.i will definitely...read full review

This has been my favorite hot springs for years and was disappointed it is kid friendly now. That is NOT because I’m a prude, that is because I come here to relax and enjoy the quiet. As the day went on more and more people brought their little kids ranging anywhere from diaper age to about twelve or so. That’s totally their personal choice and that’s fine, if you don’t mind your kid around people who have Apple Watches that can take photos (yes, there were some there) that’s not my choice to make. I didn't stay at the hot-springs but i went for the day soak. It is a beautiful spot, really nicely laid out with about 8 pools available when i was there. the steam sauna was hot and really nice fitting around 10 people. Most people were clothed but a few were naked. I arrived around 6 at night and temps were around 38 outside. The springs were lukewarm for the most part somewhere between 98 degrees and maybe 105 if you got right up to the source where the water fed into the pools. there was one pool that was around degrees but it was also the smallest pool so lots of people wanted it.
