My initial experience with Onto started out positive (in January), then went downhill. I had to get testing done on certain days of my cycle and they were very quick to get me scheduled and I liked the people I had interactions with. It took about a month to complete everything I was getting tested (including a surgery) and afterward I wanted a follow up appointment to discuss everything. I had gotten feedback that all my testing was “normal”, but I still wanted a discussion with the doctor about what all the tests were and meant for me moving forward. I wanted to take a moment to share my experience because I know how emotional and stressful the IVF journey can be before Dr. Jelani join the office. I went through a retrieval cycle, where only a few embryos were created and unfortunately none of them came back genetically normal after PGT testing. It was really heartbreaking and discouraging this time with Doctor Jeelani and her team. My experience was completely different. She retrieved 17 eggs, nine fertilized and all nine made it to blast and were sent for PGT testing, which was an incredible outcome for us. I truly felt like I was in very capable hands. My husband and I had struggled getting pregnant for a while. We were happy to come across Onto Fertiltiy! They were so supportive and helpful from the very beginning! They listened to what we wanted and had us feeling confident! We ended up getting pregnant within 4 months of working with them! We are truly blessed! Highly recommend!
