I really do not understand why the name has a bad reputation! Each has a different owner. This one is Fantastic! I was new to the area and tried many salons in Parker. My choice is Fantastic Sams on Key Stone Blvd Robyn (owner) has done a fantastic job for me. I am in a wheelchair and this was not a problem for her! Where it was for other salons. She work with natural curly hair, her cuts are the best, and the color is perfect. When I first started going there she recommended a hot conditioner that was really wonderful. My hair is in better shape now than it has been in years! I highly recommend this salon.
Not a bad location and I’ve never had an awful haircut but both times I’ve gone there have been things I didn’t particularly enjoy unfortunately. Today when I went I was seated pretty quickly which I appreciate but the woman cutting my hair spent all of 5 minutes on it, didn’t offer to wash it, and didn’t wet my hair at all during the cut (which I suppose may be personal preference, the haircut itself isn’t bad). She cut off probably 1/4-1/2 of an inch and I still have dead ends which I had asked her to remove. Being fairly new to Parker, I've been seeking a stylist who does a good cut. I tried out a salon on Mainstreet, and was very dissatisfied with the cut I received. So...checked for recommendations on NextDoor. Several pricey salons were mentioned ($65 for a cut seems high to me), but one neighbor recommended Danielle at Fantastic Sam's, saying she's been her client for years. But...Fantastic Sam's? Aren't their stylists fresh out of school, or so mediocre they can't make it in "real" salons? Plus, I had a disastrous experience at another FS a few weeks before my wedding, many years ago.
