The rooms are small but adequate, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. Guests can enjoy the mineral pool, vapor caves, and massages, as well as the lush flowers around the facility and courtyard. It's an easy walk to downtown, where visitors can find restaurants and shops.
This is a quaint little place. We loved the vapor cave and pool. The room, #3, was cute and the twin beds were very comfy. My only concern was that there was no covering over the window in the bathroom. When I went to speak to the woman on duty about it, it didn't seem concerning to her. However, I found my own solution and felt much better about our privacy. Other than that, I would definitely recommend staying there.
We stayed two nights at the Wiesbaden, greatly enjoying the hot spring-fed vapor cave and outdoor pool.
The hotel building itself is well presented online as historical and rustic. The setting and location away from Main Street lends to its peacefulness and tranquility.
Once the sun sets below the mountains and the air begins to chill, the outdoor pool kept us warm as late as 11pm when it closes. The vapor cave was a unique and humid experience with a cozy variation from the hotter pool to the cooler cave stream on the other side. One night we even had it to ourselves.
We stayed in September but I can only imagine how relaxing it would be to stay here in the winter.
Everything was breathtaking and beautiful the desk Lady welcomed us and was so sweet even kept the cave open for an extra 30 minutes so we could enjoy it cause we arrived late into the evening, which was remarkable to wake up to and see what was all around us. The vapor cave was something in itself one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen in my life. Truly a remarkable experience I will be going back to enjoy many days. My only wish is that they have a better mattress for me to sleep on. Here’s a little stiff coffee was excellence. Everything was clean and beautiful, very serene, tranquil and relaxing even got to meet a little fox.
