About Montgomery Eye Care
Montgomery Eye Care is a comprehensive vision care practice serving patients in the greater Denver area. Led by board-certified ophthalmologist Dr. Jim Montgomery, the practice offers a full range of eye care services, including ICL, Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE), LASIK, and cataract surgery with advanced intraocular lenses (IOLs), as well as treatment for various eye conditions. Patients have praised the practice for its excellent care and communication. One patient, initially told they were not a candidate for LASIK or PRK, was suggested to consider ICL instead. The patient had a positive experience with Dr. Montgomery, who performed the ICL procedure and later a LRI surgery to correct the remaining astigmatism, describing the experience as "life-changing." Recently, patients have continued to share their positive experiences. One patient, who is diabetic, and her husband, both patients of Dr. Montgomery, praised the staff and the flexible scheduling at the Melody and Bryant offices. Another patient expressed gratitude for the entire team after her husband's cataract surgery, noting how the doctors and staff put him at ease and that his vision has improved significantly. A third patient, who thought he would never qualify for corrective surgery due to severe vision issues, was advised to consider ICL instead. He underwent the procedure with Dr. Montgomery and was very pleased with the care he received, including follow-up visits, describing the experience as life-changing.
I had surgery for cataracts on my left eye on 10/7/25. I have been to many doctors and hospitals for my wife and have had a couple of surgeries myself In all that I have never met any folks like the ones workking with Dr Montgomery They were the most caring and helpful people that I have ever met. Their concern for me was amazing From the front desk to the surgery to the post op.. I have the right eye to go and have no fear whatsoever ..They are a top class from top to bottom.
I can’t say enough good things about Montgomery Eyecare. I’ve been dealing with vision concerns and severe dry eye, and the care I’ve received has been above and beyond. All knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly focused on my concerns.
My mom found Dr. Montgomery later in life, and once she did, she didn’t want to see anyone else. I often took her to her appointments and saw how well she was treated by Dr. Montgomery and his team. Still, I wanted to try my own thing and bounced around to different eye doctors closer to home. But I eventually returned because no one else came close to the level of care I saw my mom receive.

I had cataract surgery at the end of February in my left eye. Then, my right eye in March. From the receptionist, Dr. Montgomery, Dr. Dugan eye doctors and the surgery team. Including the office staff at both locations, everyone was professional and helpful, plus very nice. I feel so blessed to have had a positive experience with wonderful people who truly care about their clients. I love my eye doctors and their staff. Annie Montelione
