I have trusted Selma with my hair for over 10 years. I have wavy hair which has proven to be a challenge for hair stylists in the past. I left Denver a couple of times and tried stylists in other cities and States but none compared to Selma. I always feel amazing walking out of her salon. She has been attentive to my hairs challenges by styling my hair in ways to minimize frizz and yet still complement my waves. No small feat. She takes time at the beginning of each visit to review what I did or did not like about my previous cut or color, then asks where I want to go with my hair, shorter/longer, etc then reviews what our goal is for that visit. She makes suggestions and I feel comfortable enough with her to take them or not. Personally, I love my time with her, it’s like catching up with an old friend. Which after 10 yrs, she is. Also, she did the hair for my sister’s wedding. She took care of my sister (bride), myself and three other bridesmaids. She was efficient and got us all taken care of in time and looking gorgeous. I genuinely can not recommend her highly enough.
I have been going to Selma for 12 years. She is fantastic. She listens but isn't afraid to offer up her thoughts which I appreciate. I don't want someone giving me a cut that won't work for my hair type or will be impossible to do myself at home. She is generous with her knowledge. I've learned how to do a better job managing my hair at home by following her tips. She has allowed me to try products before purchasing them which I love. I cannot say enough good things about Selma. I wouldn't have anyone else cut and color my hair. She is the best!!
