About SPA Shangri-La
SPA Shangri-La offers a dedicated space for relaxation and stress relief through professional massage services. With locations in Centennial, Littleton, and nearby areas, the spa focuses on providing therapeutic treatments that cater to individual needs. Clients can choose from various options, including deep tissue and hot stone therapies, ensuring a personalized experience designed to leave them feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Visitors frequently commend the warm and welcoming atmosphere upon arrival. The staff is noted for their accommodating nature, providing attentive care that exceeds expectations. Many clients have shared positive experiences regarding their massages, highlighting the skill and adaptability of the therapists. For example, one client appreciated how a therapist adjusted the pressure during the massage, addressing specific areas of discomfort without compromising the overall experience. While the majority of feedback is favorable, some clients raised concerns about the tipping structure at the spa. There appears to be a system in place that ties the quality of the massage to the expected tip amount, which some found confusing and somewhat bothersome. Although the massages were enjoyed, there was a preference expressed for a more straightforward pricing model that would include fair wages for the staff without relying heavily on tips. Additionally, there were some minor concerns about the unevenness in technique and timing during the massage sessions. A client noted that while the experience was generally positive, interruptions to accommodate other customers affected the flow of the massage. However, these issues did not overshadow the overall satisfaction felt by clients, many of whom still highly recommend SPA Shangri-La for its effective treatments and welcoming environment. In summary, SPA Shangri-La stands out for its commitment to providing therapeutic massages in a friendly setting. Clients can expect a range of services aimed at relaxation and stress relief, delivered by skilled therapists who are attentive to individual needs. Despite some minor concerns regarding tipping practices and massage flow, the overall experience has garnered positive reviews, making it a recommended choice for those seeking quality massage therapy.
Amy, Lessa great jobs on my massage.
Summary for my experience was, great. I got a great 1 hour massage for 70 included tip and most of the problems that I had were a mix of personal taste and human error.
When my group and I showed up, there were 5 of us and 5 workers. After a little talk the workers decided to do all of us at once (in separate rooms) Amy was my masseuse for most of the massage. She was very good. When I had a pressure problem she changed for the specific spot but went back to deep when she moved away from the painful spot, in my experience if I ever voice my pain for a small part of my body the masseuse makes the rest of the massage lighter, which...read full review
When I had a pressure problem she changed for the specific spot but went back to deep when she moved away from the painful spot, in my experience if I ever voice my pain for a small part of my body the masseuse makes the rest of the massage lighter, which I don't like. So the fact the Amy changed pressure with my pain was awesome. Now while doing the massage, due to all masseuses massaging my group, they periodically had to pause the massage to go take care of arriving customers, (the time that they spent doing this, I'm pretty sure was taken out of my hour massage, but I didn't calculate it) now Amy for some reason switched with Lessa, Lessa was good as well. She finished my massage. My issues with the overall massage was, they massage my butt cheeks which was uncomfortable at first but I appreciated the new experience and I didn't realize how many knots I had in my butt, the last issue was while the massage was good it was uneven in both technique and time. This overall wasn't a big deal but I have a evenness thing so I noticed it. About the other comments about having issues with the tip part. They have a value system for the words that you use to describe the massage that connects to the tip value. Such as, if you thought the massage was "excellent" then they wanted you to give a 25$ tip. I don't know about Denver's ways (as a visitor) but this was bothersome to my party, while the massages were good, we don't believe in tips for this type of job, we believe the workers should be paid fair by the company. I don't know if they were a crappy company or just did something weird with the pay outs for the services but either way we didn't want to pay that much in tips. We would have rather have the massages be more expensive. BUT while insistent on the tip charges they did not enforce them. Anyway if you stuck til the end congressional you know all my opinions on this place. Which is good! I recommend it!
I've been here multiple times. You can't beat the price and they usually can get you in the same day. I've always had a good experience. The massage oil is not scented so I like to bring my own for aroma therapy. I almost left my massage oil twice and they came out and made sure to give it back to me both times. I will definitely go back for services in the future.
