Our son was struggling in school and seemingly couldn’t understand what he read. Turns out he does not have a learning disability but an eye disorder that Dr DeRose found and we were able to get him treatment. Changed his life and self esteem.

I’ve been meaning to leave this review for years! I started seeing Dr. Place when I was in the fifth grade, but in my mid-twenties I was living in Boulder and seeing another provider there when my vision suddenly worsened and I couldn’t get a diagnosis or prescription that helped. I decided to go back to Dr. Place and she took the extra time with me to run additional tests to diagnose my keratoconus. Then when my insurance wouldn’t cover the expensive scleral lenses I needed, Dr. Place helped me find a solution while I figured out my insurance options. Absolutely Dr Place. She is very relatable. Addressed my concern of family history of eye diseases, she reassured that my eyes were healthy and would continue to watch for any change. I wear contacts and glasses, had to replace glasses this year. The gentleman who helped me went above and beyond finding a pair of frames in different price ranges that suited my face and were sofistcated and cute. Thank you Mtn Vista Eyecare.
