I called on a whim to inquire about getting a kid's haircut for the first time. He was so professional on the phone and answered all my questions. Even warned me that he is usually booked 2-3 weeks ahead at a time. Luckily there was a cancellation for the same day I called and I took the appointment. My son is 15 months old but he's feral and wild. He's always been squirmy and he's very strong. He was not cooperating at all with Gene but somehow Gene worked a miracle and my son looks great. He was so patient with the baby and paid close attention to detail. He's very professional, funny and sweet. Hopefully my son will get better the more he goes to Gene. I brought my 15 month old son here for his first haircut. I didn't think he'd do good but I didn't realize that he would not cooperate in any way. Poor Gene was probably traumatized, but he still did a fantastic job. My son was absolutely feral and was super squirmy yet Gene was able to do an even job and I know he was trying to be perfect but my baby wasn't sitting still. Despite that, we'll be coming back in the future if Gene will have us. Thank you so much for being so sweet, patient, and kind to our wild child.
