My experience with Jess for my September wedding was unfortunately a tale of two different services, leading to a {3/5} overall. The HIGHS: Exceptional Hair: Jess is a fantastic hair stylist. The bridal hair and the entire wedding party's hair looked stunning, held perfectly, and received endless compliments. If you are looking only for hair, I would highly recommend her. The LOWS: Awkward Atmosphere and Poor Makeup: Professionalism: The energy throughout the morning felt very cold and awkward. There was a noticeable lack of enthusiasm and warmth from the start when i greeted her at the door, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable for me and my bridesmaids. Makeup Application: Since I didn't have a trial run (cant afford that and a wedding), I was disappointed that there was no discussion about my skin type (which is very oily). My makeup began to crease and break down in my smile lines within 30 minutes, and I had to apply my own touch-ups before the ceremony. The lack of preparation for oily skin types was concerning for a professional makeup artist. Post-Service: I also noticed that despite taking photos, none of us were posted to her social media, even after I tagged her in my own posts, which felt dismissive.

I have a great stylist. Her shop is so cute and everything is right there. Most of what you need done from a beautician can be found there.
