We collaborated with Dave to bring more life into our 1885 foyer stairwell.
Dave brought great ideas and deep experience. He highlighted existing original elements, mixed with faux antiquing, and created a coherent vision for the foyer stairs, rails, and exposed brick wall. The result : a permanent art installation! We are very pleased!

Colorado Faux Painting exceeded expectations! From the moment I reached out, their owner Dave, was professional, responsive, and incredibly knowledgeable about decorative finishes. He incorporated my style and existing decor to help me choose the perfect faux finish to elevate my living room walls, as well as the kitchen and dining room ceilings. Our existing faux beams were too dark, like a dark shade of chocolate. So we hired Dave to use faux painting to lighten the beam color to that of river wood, light walnut, or oak.Dave met with our designers and us several times to discuss the objectives. Then he painted beam samples to ensure we were all in agreement on the final color.We were very happy with the finished color. The photo I uploaded does not show the beauty and wood nuances. We are beyond satisfied! He was on time, professional, and even moved all the furniture back.I highly recommend Dave. He's more than a painting contractor. He is a highly skilled artist.
