Stephanie N in the Boulder and Lafayette locations is awesome. Not only does she totally listen to exactly what I would like, she takes great notes for my next visit. She is friendly and kind and makes it an enjoyable experience without any fear of what the cut will be.

I've been shaving my own head for so long, I forgot about the experience that goes along with visiting a professional barber shop. I've always thought of barbers as artist, that have at times an impossible task. But more times then not, they accomplish said task, by making their client feel good about themselves; no matter what life has cast.But Floyds takes the experience to another level. The smiles when one enters, seem less like good customer service and more like greeting an old friend. Good atmosphere, I liked my haircut, and the hairstylist was polite. They upsold me on a shampoo, and tried to sell me a product on top of it. My hair was fairly long before, so the price was going to be higher already, but it seemed to be higher than I expected. On checkout, the premade tip options were 25, 30, and 35%, which is about the highest I've seen it. All in all, I paid about 80$ after tip for my haircut. It's hard to say its a great deal, but it's a high quality haircut and I suppose you need to pay high prices for high quality. Overall positive.
