About Colorado Retina Associates
Colorado Retina Associates is a sub-specialty eye care practice known for its professional and skilled physicians. They specialize in the medical and surgical treatment of various vitreo-retinal eye diseases, including age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and retinal detachments. The practice is comprised of fourteen physicians who have trained at internationally renowned fellowship programs for six or more years after medical school. They are also engaged in academia, advocacy, volunteering, and education both nationally and abroad. One patient had a positive experience with the practice after tearing their retina and needing immediate attention. They were made to feel comfortable and were placed into surgery the next morning. The patient highly praises Dr. Johnson and would return if necessary. Another patient was impressed with the quick and efficient service they received over the holiday weekend. They were seen early the day after Christmas as a new patient and were thoroughly examined to ensure they were not experiencing a retinal tear. The on-call doctor/nurse called back within 30 minutes of leaving a message and concluded that the patient was not experiencing an emergency. The staff were friendly, efficient, and effective, and Dr. Andrew (Zheng) took the time to explain the patient's condition using an eye model. A different patient was anxious about having their retinal tears repaired by laser but was reassured by Dr. Johnson's explanation of the procedure and his calm, confident demeanor. The patient found the procedure to be easier and less painful than a dental appointment. Overall, patients have had positive experiences with Colorado Retina Associates, praising the staff's professionalism, knowledge, and care.
I can't thank Dr Courtney and his staff enough at this office. They are always so friendly, reassuring and the level of care is outstanding. I have AMD and my eyesight is so much improved I can now do fine needlework again. Thank you so much everyone.
