I have been practicing yoga for 15 years and nearly 5 now with Kim Smarr and my practice has completely transformed. I am IN the poses vs doing the poses. I am stronger than I have ever been and while of course I am doing the work, Kim has helped me to take my practice to the next level and continues to do so. There is no limit with that you will learn with Kim as she herself is continuously evolving her practice. I have been to studios all over the US from New York to LA to places in between and BeWell Yoga of Johnstown has not only quality teachers and classes but the community to make for a well rounded studio. The yoga instructors & owner are incredible!! They all have very different styles which make for a lovely variety! They offer a nice variety of classes, times & focus. Kim is extraordinarily accommodating & bends over backward for her fellow yogis...literally & figuratively!! She is incredibly skillful & talented but is able to break down the most complex poses & make them accessible for anyone, no matter what the skill level. All of the instructors are warm, inviting & soulful in their own way, which brings meaning & purpose to each practice.
