The Tesla Supercharger in Idaho Springs offers a great location with nearby shops and activities. It is a busy spot, often requiring some wait time, but the quick 250kW charging makes it efficient. Visitors appreciate the convenience after outdoor activities like hiking and snowshoeing. The picturesque surroundings make this stop a standout, offering stunning views that turn a routine charge into a memorable experience. Whether nestled in the mountains or along a scenic river, the location is more than just functional—it's a peaceful retreat. The Supercharger is conveniently placed, making it easy to explore local attractions or enjoy a coffee while your Tesla charges. All together eight chargers, two are on the side for a variety of vehicles. They are arrayed around the parking lot behind the Maverick station. The Maverick station had clean restrooms and munchies.
Excellent chargers. Located immediately behind the Maverick convenience store. Fast 250kw, lots of food options including real restaurants, plus the well stocked Maverick just steps away. A couple of nice features you don't often see including trash cans (yay!) and freshly stocked windshield cleaning station (yay!). Also has one charger that is a forward pull in that would probably work pretty well with some non-Tesla cars with charger ports located differently.
A great pitstop for a charge right in the center of Idaho Springs. Nice to take a stroll through town or get a bite to eat just around the corner in this historic town. Clean and easy to find.
