We live very close to this campus so it’s been our go-to for all our kids. When my oldest broke her arm they were amazing with her! She had hated hospitals ever since her great grandma got sick, but they made her feel so comfortable and safe. They took the time to explain things in a way she understood, they answered all her questions, showed her all X-rays, and kept her as included in decision making as they could so she felt like she had some control. With our other 2 we’ve been there for speciality visits with dermatology, and a couple other clinics. It’s always been welcoming, friendly, and absolutely above and beyond for the little ones. My son had surgery here and we are so very impressed with all they did to prepare him and everyone was so wonderful! Very kid focused and organized. We were updated a lot and felt at ease with the expertise and care. Even after surgery when he was very upset the nurse was patient, kind, and helped us every step of the way!
Before and after pictures. The staff and volunteers were wonderful and as a nurse myself, I have high expectations. Jarrek liked “the apple juice”. 5 stars
Scheduling was the part that needs work for me. I called to make sure that someone would be there 12/26 for the post op a month before the scheduled the procedure. Tried to change it to Monday so we wouldn’t have to get up super early, live in Salida. No luck or return call from the nurse. Instead, less than a week prior we were moved to the Aurora campus at 900 am. The nurse took two weeks off at the Holidays at that point!!? Now we would have to leave our home at 500 am to go to the Aurora campus... read full review
