Dr. Mathis and his assistant are the best. And I saw this whole-heartedly. My mom worked for animal health international for 25 years so I grew up with a toooon of large animal vets in my life. I can tell you that Dr. Mathis is fair, he cares about your animals, and he works really hard for all of us. I am so happy I found Mackey Veterinary services. My vet I used for years and years sadly retired and I had a hard time finding another vet I liked. I am so happy that he was referred to me by a friend! We had a freak accident with our horse. I was frazzled when I called Dr. Mathis. He was very professional and helped me calm down. He came out quickly and went straight to work saving our horse. Will always be our number one vet.
