I had Gavin replace a cracked screen on my laptop. In his defense, when I called to see if he could do the work (I found him on Yelp) he did say that he doesn't usually do retail work, but would do it for me. I received the laptop back and the backlighting on the screen was clearly not working. I have several of these same 15" retina display macbooks. I happened to be going down to Apple that day for a completely different reason. I had them look at the laptop, as I was hoping for an easy fix. Gavin is extremely technically knowledgeable and one of the best problem solvers I know. I'd trust him to set up a full stack the right way for a given client, and run operations smoothly and intelligently, always with an eye on optimization and long term sustainability. High recommendations!
