His portfolio was awesome and we just instantly clicked. This was in 2012. I have been going to Adam, who is the owner of Fallen Owl for the last 14 years. My upper body is heavily tattooed and I am extremely proud of the work he has done. He runs a great, professional shop filled with other extremely talented artists. “We walked into Big Easy Tattoo in Broomfield looking for a cover-up. We talked with Greg (the tattoo artist) and Isaac (the owner and piercer), and both of them were incredibly easy to talk to. No ego, no pressure, just real conversation and genuine interest in getting the design right. They listened carefully, asked the right questions, and fully understood the look we were going for.

Greg absolutely delivered. The level of detail in the work is what really stood out, it wasn’t just “good,” it was precise. Every line, every shade, every element matched the original design exactly the way it was supposed to look. And somehow, he made it stand out even more on skin than it did in the reference. You would never know it was a cover-up. That alone says everything.

On top of that, the pricing was very competitive for the level of talent and detail you’re getting. This isn’t rushed or average work, this is skilled, intentional artistry.

Also, Isaac does the piercings, and his custom jewelry designs are seriously next-level, super intricate, unique, and not something you see everywhere.
