About Children's Music Academy of Erie
Children's Music Academy of Erie (CMA) is a nationwide program focused on teaching music fundamentals to children in a small, fun group setting. The classes are incredibly hands-on with a creative, positive, and non-pressured atmosphere, allowing children to develop a strong musical foundation. Children learn to play piano, guitar, and recorder, as well as develop skills in singing, harmony, rhythm, note reading, ear training, composition, and ensemble playing. Parents actively participate with their child, creating a supportive learning environment. Reviewers praise CMA for its ability to help shy children build confidence and self-esteem, as well as nurture a lasting interest in music. After graduating from the program, children often find it easier to pick up new instruments and play them with skill and confidence. Families have enjoyed the program for many years, with music becoming a shared passion. CMA's dedicated teachers are credited for the program's success, with one reviewer expressing a heartfelt thank you for the wonderful experience their family had over the course of nine years.

Now, he confidently plays his solos, eagerly raises his hand to answer questions, enjoys interacting with the other children, and even speaks comfortably with the adults in the class. This program goes far beyond piano instruction—it has helped him build self-esteem, develop character, and learn perseverance....read full review
My daughter went through the entire program, it was great. She enjoyed class a lot and even did mind practicing at home sometimes.
My eldest started at CMA when he was just 4 years old, with no prior knowledge of music. Now, he plays so well that every teacher he’s had since graduating from the program has been amazed at how much he knows.
Our other two children also attended CMA, and they now play beautifully. After graduating from the program, all three of them found it much easier to pick up new instruments—and they play them with confidence and skill.
We were with Children's Music Academy for a total of nine years across our three kids, and it was truly one of the best decisions we've ever made. I highly recommend CMA to any parent who wants their child to love music—because...read full review
