The difference between my experience at the Birth Center and my previous OB care (I transferred right before the 31 week cutoff) was legit night and day. My OB appointments felt transactional, rushed, and not informative. I was handed a couple of outdated printed pages and sent on my way.

The team at the Birth Center are deeply invested in YOU, and empower you with knowledge. They provide a beautifully organized binder broken down by trimester and postpartum (which I constantly consulted throughout pregnancy), and the pre birth classes made me feel prepared and ready to be a first time mom.

The birthing rooms are spacious, calming, and stocked with labor comfort tools. When our son arrived, we were able to enjoy the most blissful, quiet first hours as a family. The midwives helped us with our first latch, then gave us space to soak it all in while bringing snacks, warm robes, and fresh towels. Before going home, they made sure we felt confident with the diaper changing, breastfeeding, and getting him in his car seat.

I truly cannot emphasize enough how incredibly well cared for I felt throughout the entire process (pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum).

The doctors at Denver Health told me that the UCH clinic would reach out on Monday, and they contacted me first thing that morning. Dr. Cohen was our doctor, and she was incredibly open, patient, and thorough. She answered every question I had, and I had many because I was so nervous.

I needed a procedure at the main hospital, and she got us on the OR waitlist, and we were able to get in the very next morning.
