Nova Mente is a school that is very welcoming and perfect for families. The mats are always clean, and the space is outfitted not only for BJJ but also for striking and strength training. The Professor(Troy), and the coaches are VERY knowledgeable and patient. Troy is also well known throughout the BJJ community. I bring this up because Troy has access to individuals that not alot of other schools have for seminars. Nova Mente can AND IS willing to help individuals no matter the age, body type, or disability one may have. I say this because I myself have a disability and this is important. I've been training at Nova Mente for a little over 4 years, and I absolutely love it.

Nova Mente is a second home to my family, if you are new to Nova you will immediately know you can call this your home and the training is outstanding. My son and husband trained Jujitsu, along with my son having one on one training in wrestling, my son made the Varsity team his freshman year, mind you he never had Wrestling experience before he started training at nova. I signed up for personal weight training and I have never felt better about myself. I 100% recommend Nova Mente Academy!! Love the staff and the members.
