I met Mark 2 years ago when I was looking for a financial advisor. His name was sent to me as a recommendation, while I was working through Dave Ramsey’s 7 Baby Steps plan.

I had reached Baby Step 4. “Invest 15% of your Household Income in Retirement”, so I used the SmartVestor option on the Ramsey website that provided recommendations for financial advisors who had been researched and approved by their team.

While I met with and talked to several people, Mark was the one who made the biggest impact. I felt like he genuinely cared about me and my goals. During our visit/interview he identified the areas that were important to me. When did I want to retire? How much safety in investments did I need vs. risk. What was my current financial picture and where was I headed with my plan?
