We enjoyed a nice time at the hot springs after a long drive into Durango. It had very pretty atmosphere with many pools to choose from, including kid friendly options if you have children coming with you. It felt secluded and private despite being just off the highway which was nice. Very clean facilities, too!
Traveling from out of town and wondering what to expect? Here’s our take since this was our first time here!
1. We booked Friday at 7 PM for 2 hours and honestly, it was the perfect time. We got to watch the sunset and then see all the resort lights come on. It also wasn’t very busy, so we had a few of the pools completely to ourselves.
2. There are 32 different pools with different sizes and temperatures, so there’s a lot to explore.

My family had such a wonderful, relaxing time at Durango Hot Springs! The facility is beautiful & clean with gorgeous mountain views and a large selection of mineral pools. The staff are so friendly & helpful. A little slice of heaven.
