I asked for a specific haircut using a picture which I showed to Ellie. I already had something similar but I wanted something a little more like the photo I shared with her. She got it close, so very close. If I was to be in CO longer, or if I ever visit and need a haircut, I will definitely try to get an appt with Ellie's Place. It usually takes a few cuts to really get a feel for my type of hair (thick and coarse and bleached). Then, on a previous visit, she repaired a very bad cut from a different vendor there in town. I think I've decided that most women wear their hair long in Durango, so cute short cuts are not very common. Ellie did a wonderful job evening up the disaster I was left with, and I'm forever thankful for that! See you next time Ellie!

Absolutely fantastic color and hair cut by Ellie. Finding someone who knows how to do a good blonde is so hard to come by (especially in a little town like Durango) but I'm so grateful to have found Ellie! She cuts my hair exactly how I want it lickety-split, I'm out of there in 30 minutes. Also, when I've gotten my highlights done at other places it's taken between two and four hours, but not at Ellie's! I was in and out in an hour and a half for a full foil..she's unbelievable! Look no further, Ellie is your gal!
