Kindness Animal Hospital has been providing veterinary care for pets in Durango and surrounding areas for over 15 years. They offer a range of services including wellness care, vaccinations, emergency care, complementary medicine, diagnostics, and surgery for cats and dogs. The hospital is known for its compassionate and professional staff who are dedicated to explaining pet conditions clearly and providing the best care options. Clients have praised the doctor and staff for their kindness, expertise, and willingness to go the extra mile, especially in emergency situations. The new clinic is very sterile, clean, and beautiful, with a spacious waiting area filled with interesting pictures and things to look at. The staff is friendly, attentive, and affordable compared to most vets in the area, providing quick and prompt care. Dr. Lodahl, in particular, is highly appreciated for her fast, personal, and compassionate approach, especially in emergency cases like ingested fiberglass insulation or mushrooms. Many clients have expressed their gratitude for her kindness, quick response, and the extra care she provides, often driving extra miles to see her. The hospital’s atmosphere reflects the love and kindness that the staff, especially Dr. Lodahl, put into caring for animals, making it a trusted place for pet owners in Durango, Bayfield, and even Farmington.
I've lived all over the US and Dr Lodahl is the best vet I've ever dealt with. She found a problem with my dogs spine and successfully treated it when 6 other vets completely missed it, using the x rays the other vets took. I would rather drive 4 hours to go to this vet than any of the vets where I live currently.
This is by far the absolute best Vet experience we’ve ever had! Dr. Lohdahl and her team truly care about their furry patients and they demonstrate total competency in their jobs! Our Champ has had several trips there over the last few years and every visit he is treated with such tender care and kindness, he honestly loves to go to the vet. If I could give a 100 star review I would ten times over!
I've had elderly dog pain management, spay, parvo treatment, euthanasia and surgeries done here over the last 10+ years. Dr. Claire and her staff are professional and compassionate.
