I walked in expecting just a trim, but my stylist (I am terrible at remembering names) was kind enough to do a little bit of layering and talked me through more thorough upkeep and maintenance to bring out my waves and curls. 10/10

I've been looking for somewhere in Durango to handle my son's cultured hair and have had some nightmare experiences. One lady at Walmart did great...ONE lady and with the varied schedules she was hard to nail down. So, we got some not so great results if we didn't get HER specifically. We went to Buck's on the fly and they got him in within 20 minutes. We showed Candess a picture of what we were looking for and not only did she take her time but, I could tell she puts pride in her work. He walked in with an afro and walked out with the curls of a Greek God and a fierce fade! Plus, we got water and a beer while waiting.

I have had numerous bad experiences with barbers throughout Durango. I have had one barber cut my hair for years the last 10+ years. I happened to miss my haircut appointment due to work. Bucks Parlor got me in quick. Myla cut my hair and was very adamant on making sure it was cut the way I wanted. I can say it was a relief to know there are still barbers out there that can actually cut hair and make it about a he client. She took her time to make it look good and did a fantastic job at that. If you want a fade that looks amazing, got to Myla at Bucks Parlor in Durango, Colorado.
