Our trash has not been picked up in 3 weeks. I call twice a day and each time I'm told they will be out that day. I have to keep rolling my trash into and out of my garage along with all the loose trash as we live in a rural area and a bear has already gotten into the trash. I've been told I will be billed through August yet there have been no services for the month of August. They are always polite on the phone but there is no solution being provided for our missed pick ups. They will not get me in touch with the operator or let me know a location that I can take my trash to. This has become a safety issue and we are done with this company and advise new customers to choose any one else for trash services!!
wish I could give a negative star. After multiple calls I cannot get them to STOP dumping our large dumpsters at 5:00 am!! I am in a residential apartment area where they pick up trash dumpsters at 5 in the morning!! what is wrong with this company?? Who does this?? This is the WORST company ever!! DO NOT dump trash dumpsters at 5 am on a weekend when residents are still sleeping!! STOP!!
when it was Gallegos, service was excellent. Republic, otoh, is the worst garbage company I've ever had in my fifty or so years of taking the trash out at my home, including every place I've ever lived. At this point, with a disability, I need carryout service, which means my bins are just outside my garage door and the driver must walk two car lengths to get my trash and recycling, and two car lengths to return my bins. Republic says they offer this service. Since December ('23), they have quite routinely skipped me. In recent weeks, they have skippe me every time. I phone, text, email. I've talked to city council members. Some Republic employees speak to me with some lack of respect, trying to wiggle out of responsibility. Where I live, I can't get a different company. If you have a choice, choose ANYONE else. Fort Collins has made a serious error in contracting with this company beginning in the Fall.
