What wonderful people. I drove in to have my sweet hamster put down, but he died on the way. They were kind enough to put him in a box and make paw prints for me, all at no charge. Can't say enough about how kind they were. <3
The gentleman we saw was very kind. Since they only had one Dr tonight, and they were just starting a procedure that would take an unknown amount of time, he referred us to another emergency vet that he knew had no wait time.
Unfortunately, this was not our first specialty “rodeo” (😉) but time and time again, this staff and these doctors remind us how grateful we are to have them in this community.
We live in Cripple Creek now and were morally debilitated after five days of caring for our sick beagle—unable to find a solution and having maxed out the technical capabilities of our vet up there.
Most vets would have insisted we take her down to the facility before taking us through options and potential diagnoses but these wonderful humans spent their time analyzing test results and potential options over the phone, before we made the trek down the mountain.
