Metzy (and Jami) was absolutely wonderful with my daughter! The experience was overwhelming in the best possible way. We learned so much about caring for curly hair, and she made us feel completely welcomed and cared for. Nurtured Curl Salon has such a cozy, breathtaking atmosphere that made the whole experience even more special. We left feeling empowered, educated, and so excited about embracing her curls. My appointment at The Nurtured Curl was everything I could have hoped for! For some background, I’ve always struggled with styling my hair and knew I didn’t have the time (or patience) to spend hours on it every week. Metzy and Jami were both so knowledgeable, attentive, and patient, and they made the whole experience feel really comfortable and personalized.
They listened to exactly what I wanted to be able to do with my hair, how much time I was realistically willing to spend on it, and what my hair needed, and then put together a routine that actually worked for me! Hands down the best hair salon experience I've ever had! The stylists here know how to cut both curly and wavy hair and I'd have to assume other types as well. Nurturing is an understatement. It's artistry meets science and math as far as their technique goes. Great attention was given to the multitude of angles needed to cut and blend my hair into one cohesive shape occasionally using a level and protractors to get it right! Well worth the money and a can say I found my forever salon for sure!
