I have been a patient with Summit medical for around 2 years now. Like everyone says, it is nearly impossible to get your medication refilled. I spend hours each month, calling the provider, calling the pharmacist, to get a refill on a medication I started two months ago. If you are on a life saving medication I highly suggest you go anywhere else because you as a patient, and your needs, will be irresponsibly unmet.You will also be waiting for awhile in the lobby and then again when you are brought back, so do not make any other plans for the day if you have an appointment.My provider is pleasant, when I get to see her. I can only speak for the appointment I had today with Dr. Arora, who is so far absolutely amazing. I had a kidney transplant about 4.5 years ago and he has been the first doctor to ever mention something that could be completely detrimental to my kidney health. I had previously been with another nephrology clinic in town where I had several issues with the MA, but so far this office seems much better. I'm hopeful they will be my answer to keeping this transplanted kidney as healthy as possible!
This was my first time being here. I was referred by my daughter who is also a patient here. Let's just start here, check in was easy. I waited about 5 mins. The ladies at the front were very nice and helpful. After being checked in it took about 15 mins to be called back. Tracy's , MA Gene was great. He put all my information into the computer; did my vitals and everything. He was friendly, down to earth and a good listener. It took Tracy about 20 mins come in and everything was great. She was very attentive to detail and explained everything that she wanted to do moving forward to make sure I was good. I didn't feel rushed or as if my concerns were not being heard. Do I am glad she's my doctor.
