I have had the pleasure of seeing Sophia for massage work over the past couple of months. I have had many massages throughout the years, and have never had a better massage than with her. Sophia is very knowledgeable of the human anatomy and offers many different techniques to help relieve pain and increase mobility. I have had hip issues that many doctors have not been able to help me with for years, but just after a couple of treatments, my hip pain has drastically decreased which has greatly improved my quality of life. I am so thankful that I have found her!
My daughter has been working with Milo and Sophia for almost ten months now. When she first started with them, she couldn’t walk up stairs. In fact, it had been about five years since she last walked up stairs normally.She has a rare chronic pain disorder that is not well-understood by most practitioners, has no known cure, and no reliable treatment. Milo and Sophia at Sapien Fitness made my epic backpacking trip in South America possible. I had two recent invasive foot surgeries before the trip, and I knew needed help to get my feet and body in shape. Five months before the trip, I told Sapien I was looking to get stronger and more confident with my balance in the short term, and then function better as I get older. I have never been interested in a regular gym, and I felt their holistic philosophy aligned with mine. Bottom line is my extremely challenging trip was a grand success carrying a heavy pack for multiple days on untrodden steep and exposed terrain in snowy and windy weather.
