About PlayDate Behavioral Interventions
PlayDate Behavioral Interventions is a dedicated nonprofit that offers a wide range of behavioral and supportive services for children with disabilities. Their programs include Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy, Speech, Occupational Therapy (OT), and Physical Therapy (PT), along with summer camps, respite care, and extended family support. The center is designed to be a convenient, one-stop location where children can receive consistent and coordinated care, which creates a positive and structured environment. The staff at PlayDate are highly qualified and caring, genuinely committed to supporting each child and making parents feel involved and informed. They work with children who have various needs, such as those using AAC devices, PECS, or sign language, and can accommodate food allergies, special diets, physical limitations, challenging behaviors, medication needs, and feeding issues. The team’s positive energy and compassion are evident from the moment families walk in, fostering a space where children are understood, encouraged, and empowered to succeed. Many families praise the staff for going above and beyond, building meaningful relationships, and creating a supportive environment that promotes progress. Despite occasional staff turnover, the overall experience at PlayDate is consistently described as impactful, supportive, and dedicated to helping children and their families thrive.
my wife fell in love with this place got a job was super inspired by the founder and the company, and within a week wife was put into a situation that we are highly questioning, and was injured while in training and person in charge was the maintenance person. this company sent her home for a scratch on her arm and then fired her... so much return from companies as a loyal employee anymore. I'd be worried of their internal work practices.
