Mike is the first barber I met after moving to Colorado Springs last year, and I haven't found a need to visit any other barber shop since. He's one of the few people I've met who tells worse jokes than I do, and that's saying a lot! All I tell him is "fix me up" and he gives me a perfect haircut every time. Going to Nelson's Barber Shop is like stepping back in time, kind of like Mayberry, except Mike has a much better personality than Floyd!

Mike is a historian who cuts hair for a living. Classic old-school barbershop with tons of fun reading material and curios. Laugh at his corny dad jokes, he lives to entertain. Haircut is exactly what I expect. I wouldn’t go here if you have special requirements, but for a regular haircut it’s great. CASH OR CHECK ONLY! “You won’t get that at Supercuts!”
