Third time contracting with this company for our landscaping needs having first hired them in the late 80's, again in 2003 for our new home landscaping and most recently May 2022 to renovate to water wise landscaping of our front yard. As usual, they do what they say they will do, on time and on budget. This is the third project they have done for us, the first being a front yard zero-scape over ten years ago with the same very positive results.“

“From the first phone call with Dani, the landscape designer, we knew that Jake’s Designs was the company for us. We needed our entire property landscaped and yet we had a hard time getting other companies to even return our initial calls when inquiring about bids. We got the sense that some companies were only interested in larger, million-dollar projects.Jake’s treated us with respect from start to finish. We had done our research and had a fairly clear vision in mind—which was rather unique, unconventional, and tailored to suit our needs and constraints. Dani spent so much time listening closely to our ideas and revisiting the design plan until it matched our vision.Once the work began, the crew assigned to our project was a blast. Music, singing, jokes—and good work ethic. Our neighbors often commented on how fun the crew members seemed to be. I was even out working alongside them most days. Rikky, the project lead, and I worked together to solve challenges in order to turn my vision into reality. He is an artisan of flagstone paths.Dani followed up with us a year later as promised. She is kind, genuine, and knowledgeable. We recommend this company—a company that treats all projects as million-dollar projects.“
“I have used Bob Rundo Tree Surgeon for 25 years to fertilize my trees, spray against a pine beetle infestation, and to prune my trees. Most recently, I used them for extensive tree trimming.I am writing this review to commend two deserving employees, Zac Burke and Jacob Gill. Before meeting Zac and Jacob, I was apprehensive that two careless workers would come, indiscriminately hack at my trees to trim them, and then leave a mess. I could not have been more wrong!Before doing any work, they took time to discuss the trimming work to be done—which I really appreciated!! Both men were articulate and spoke English—which I also appreciated!Zac and Jacob worked safely and carefully. They were careful in how they brought down branches. They were careful not to damage my nearby fence. They tiptoed around seven perennial flowers that were planted near the base of the tree. Not one plant was damaged.Zac and Jacob went above and beyond to get dead branches cleared out of my trees. They truly went the extra mile!! They noticed two diseased branches that I had not seen. One branch was so compromised that there was a twenty-inch gash where light showed through it. I was relieved that they spotted it and took it down.I was also impressed by their teamwork. They helped each other every step of the process. They had positive, cheerful attitudes and I never heard bad language or complaining. They were a great team!!At the end, I was also grateful how thoroughly they cleaned up the branches and debris. My yard looked tidy and the street area where they chipped the wood was swept clean.I cannot say enough good things about Zac and Jacob!! This company can be very proud of them!! They are a terrific asset and wonderful workers.“

“Working with Mario and his crew has been a rare pleasure for my family and I. He is incredibly easy going and he and his crew do outstanding work. Their prices are unbeatable, hands down. They are always willing to work with you and meet you where you are. Mario himself is a man full of integrity and classic/old style grit to get a job done well with honor and integrity. I honestly can't recommend them highly enough. Their concrete work is absolutely inspiring, and they are able to do just about any landscaping and really anything else you could want done in a backyard (and I'd add--with superior style--as Mario is a true artist).
