Dr. Ron and Dr. Barb are FANTASTIC - and so is their STAFF! I'm what you could call a "Frequent Flyer". I had a kitty who had hyperthyroid and kidney issues. I got the medication, but she was an old little gal. When she had lost so much weight and had such thin skin, it became a struggle. I couldn't give her the fluids she needed, so I took her there for that every other day. I can't believe ANYONE would say the staff is RUDE or UNFRIENDLY! Perhaps those commentors are in sore need of some Metamucil! I just had to have that 19 yr. old baby with the kidney failure put down. That is a really traumatic event for anyone. I couldn't have imagined more consideration and comfort given than what I received! Dr. Barb and the Vet Tech, Zach, who had given her the fluids all that time, spent personal time with me. They truly loved her too! Buxton Veterinary Hospital has been my Vet for several of my kitties, two who crossed "The Rainbow Bridge", and those who I still have. What I have experienced there makes them MY VET FOREVER!
Very inexpensive and helpful people. My only concern is they aren't always willing to do what you ask of them. Usually they are but sometimes you have to push back more than I like to.
