Through out the years, my family and I have used Angelus since the Moose Lodge was developed into what it is today. Initially due to many friends and family that worked for Angelus. Without naming any names of who they are there is history for my family there. My father’s mother was laid to rest there as well as my cousins and a host of friends and family of friends. And most recently my mother. At this time there was a moment when the care of my mother was unintentionally handled in a manner that required swift and exact action for this moment of transition. Emotions were very high and volatile. There didn’t appear to be any way that this could be salvaged or the slightest possibility of a smooth transition for my mother and my family. In comes Julissa Vega. With grace and professionalism. Fully accepted the opportunity to recover and transform this moment into one of the most memorable special moments for our family. Realizing these things do occur the prospect was bleak at best. By taking the bull by the horns so to speak. Julissa transformed what could have been, into a Gracious filled moment of gratitude, condolences, well wishes and life being spoken that could be celebrated by all. There was recognition, acknowledgment and acceptance along with the necessity for spiritual guidance and focus needed that would allow the possibility to celebrate the wonderful life of a beautiful and beloved woman of the community. Julissa recognized that and fulfilled above and beyond. The level of intellectual professionalism conveyed a sense of calm and commanding presence that all was well and would be fine and she delivered in high fashion. Again, can not say enough about this very outstanding individual. With poise and confidence, she stood, bringing about a celebration of life that will be remembered. We are so grateful to Liz and the entire team for the care and kindness they showed our family while handling my father's funeral.
