Only called for a quote to replace a phone screen. Quote was $9 more than buying a new phone. After I replaced the phone, I ordered the screen replacement kit online for 1/3 the cost of the repair (retail). It took me 22 mins (minus adhesive dry time) to do with the help of a YouTube video. I've never done that kind of work before, phone works great though. So if we round that off and assume they would pay the same price for the kit... They're charging what, $180 dollars an hour labor for high school basic electronics work?
