We started our 4 year old son William at Colorado Martial Arts Academy in the summer of 2019, and Jesse (the owner/lead instructor) and his daughters did a masterful job of helping my son overcome his initial anxiety and participate in Little Ninja’s classes. Almost immediately, our son took to karate and began improving his focus, coordination, balance and direction following. As a former Tang Soo Do student myself (and son of a Tang Soo Do Master); I immediately recognized Jesse’s commitment to the art, and passion for developing students of all ages and abilities before turning profit. His studio is welcoming and safe, and the mat chat personal development sessions for his age group in class were both highly relevant and worthwhile. Jesse and his family continually made time for my son before and after class (at no expense to us) to help him improve his skills and integrate him into class. Anyone interested in enrolling a student in martial arts would be best served trying Colorado Martial Arts Academy first. The benefits we received have set our son up for success in his early childhood endeavors, and we are thankful to have found this school.
