I can’t say enough good things! My daughter loves to go to Straka to see “Dr Namber” along with Margaret and Stephanie. My daughter was practically nonverbal when she started and after almost 9 months, she talks to me in full sentences and paragraphs! She has made enormous leaps and bounds, she enjoys doing the work and going in, and I almost have to bribe her to leave- she genuinely loves it there! Her speech has come such a long way, as have her gross and fine motor skills, and I’m convinced the women who work at Straka are certified miracle workers.
My son sees Jenny and she is INCREDIBLE! She truly has a gift for connecting with children. Not only does she get them to learn and work with her, but does it in such a way that they have so much fun that they don’t realize they’re learning. My son has autism and it can be hard to get him to engage but Jenny has made so much progress with his speech over the last few months. She has been a miracle worker at getting my son to speak clearly and gain confidence in his speech. She’s always prepared with gamified home teaching aids for me to keep him engaged in the ways that work best for him. He is always so excited to go to speech therapy and see “Miss Jenny”. I truly couldn’t be happier with this practice, highly recommend Jenny at Straka Speech!
