I have been having my hair done at Shade since I moved to Carbondale in 2019. Kerri was a skilled colorist and I was sad to see her go, as every good stylist I’ve ever had moves away. However, in this case it has worked out because I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Mahala. I am almost hesitant to write a review because it’s so impossible to find a good stylist, but she deserves so much praise. Kerry did a fantastic job with my dry, hadn't been cut in 6 months ratchet hair. She used product and techniques to make my mane look stylish but also restore its health. I loved my cut and color!

We are so thankful for Amanda and team agreeing to do my wedding hair, 3 bridesmaids, moms, flower girl, and officiant! From the hair trail, to additional services (make-up & spray tan from Amy Face Place) our entire experience was amazing. The quality of hair and attention to detail are sincerely appreciated. My entire wedding party felt beautiful and I cannot thank you enough!
