We hired them to remove several pine beetle-killed trees from our two-acre mountain property in Nathrop, near Buena Vista. We absolutely love this house, the land, the entire valley, and the surrounding forest, so allowing anyone to arrive with chainsaws, heavy equipment, and a woodchipper requires a fairly significant leap of faith on my part.

From my first conversation with Dave, I knew we were in excellent hands.

Dave handled all of the arrangements for the work, communicated clearly about what needed to be done, and was also on-site throughout the job. He was professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely kind from beginning to end. He made the entire process easy, which is especially impressive when the work itself was anything but easy.

Dave and his two crew members worked incredibly hard all day removing the affected trees, chipping the material, and hauling everything away. Our property is heavily wooded, uneven, and difficult to access in several areas. There were trees I honestly did not believe they had a chance of reaching with their equipment. Apparently, I dramatically underestimated both their skill and their willingness to treat basic laws of terrain as merely suggestions.

Watching Dave and the crew work was incredible. At various points, they were climbing and maneuvering through the trees like Spider-Man, if Spider-Man wore proper safety equipment, communicated exceptionally well, and arrived with a woodchipper.

Despite the difficulty of the work, they were careful, efficient, and incredibly respectful of the property. Dave communicated with me throughout the day, explained what they were doing, kept me updated on their progress, and made sure I was comfortable with everything every step of the way.

The entire crew was polite, professional, kind, and genuinely enjoyable to have around. Their pricing was also extremely reasonable, especially considering the amount of work, the difficult access, the specialized equipment, and the skill required to remove hazardous trees safely in a mountain environment. They accomplished an enormous amount in one day and left the property clean and beautifully cared for.

What impressed me most was how respectfully Dave and his crew treated a place that means so much to us. They worked as though the property mattered to them too, and that is not something I take lightly.
