“My wife and I contacted several HVAC companies around Durango trying to get air conditioning added to our existing forced air heating system on short notice after a bear incident at our home. We wanted to get it done before several guests we were expecting arrived so we would not need to leave our windows open while they were there. “Finally, someone who cares. I had called around to several companies and had been dealing with unprofessionalism and unreliability. It felt like I kept getting brushed off as our problem wasn't a large, high paying project. However, AAA Plumbing and Heating made me feel like my warmth was still a priority. All we needed was an ignitor replaced (this was not as easy as it should have been. Our ignitor is in a terrible spot and was rusted to our furnace). Their team member, Josh, had responded to my call immediately and within 40 minutes he was at my home and analyzed the problem. He found the part we needed, drove 30 minutes back into town to buy it and had to drive 30 minutes back to my home to install the new piece. A same day solution - whereas other companies (I will leave my reviews on their pages) had charged me for the analysis, ordered a part online and never kept an appointment time to reinstall. Or I was being told I couldn't start the process for over a week out. Where we live (close to the Hesperus ski hill) companies like AAA Plumbing and Heating are a blessing. Josh broke down the price and gave an accurate quote before ever starting the work. I was not charged an analysis fee and in the end had paid $94 for a part, $160 toward labor and a $35 travel fee. Completely reasonable pricing at less than $300 for several hours of work dedicated to finishing our project the same day I called to report a problem asking for assistance. AAA Plumbing and Heating was such a cut above the rest compared to at least 6 other companies I had spoken to. I was offered a company sticker being placed on my furnace so that if any other problems arise with my home heating OR plumbing related I will know who to call first. I am truly grateful for the professionalism, reliability, response time and affordable pricing. AAA Plumbing and Heating has gained a new loyal client.”
