After my bike fit where Vega changed a lot of things including my seat post and saddle height, I did a tough ride today and was amazed at the difference in the power I had and how comfortable I felt on the bike. Not only was I five min faster with no real stress, My hands didn’t get numb, my crotch didn’t hurt. I felt great. It’s frustrating that I’ve been riding this new bike for two years assuming it was fit properly because I bought it at a high end reputable shop. I couldn’t have been more wrong.
I always thought Bike Fitting was a sham especially with certain dealers that I have been to in the Roaring Fork. I went to Vega as I received the mountain bike certificate as a bday present....my ass, back, neck, arms...pain has decreased 90%!!!! I can ride for hours on my mountain bike now without having to check into geriatric care. So impressed that I will be purchasing a Road Bike fitting in November for my bday to be ready for Summer 2027.
Vega at hill climb is amazing! I broke my arm last year and I combined therapy with acupuncture. It helped tremendously, I actually need to get back on her books for some more maintenance treatments, but it also helped pain in both my shoulders and tight muscles in those areas. She does mgic!
