Customer service is always bad, and they never have the products I need (just rows of products absent from shelves). Also, I'm not sure why ulta's perfume sections are becoming so unintuitive...also they never have samples out.

From SoCal to Denver Ulta never fails to disappoint. They find the most tired unpleasant rude workers and hire them to represent Ulta and they do that so well. They don’t even bother to welcome customers and when they r asked for assistance they have answers ready, which is “ No we don’t have it, sorry. Check online” when it says it’s in stock on their website. I had to complain to the cashier to get some help. Lesson learned for next time tho . What ever product, Just order it online directly from the manufacturer or check elsewhere. Ulta is like an afterthought to me at this point.

Every time I come into this ulta i have issues with their cash wrap process. They ask you for your phone number, and never tell you how many points you have on your account. They never ask if you would like to redeem them. And when you ask "how many points do I have?" They act irritated as if I am causing an issue for them. EVERY TIME. yeah you actually have ___ dollars off. And you then have to ask to USE the points. Im a store manager of a retail store. And I'm 100% positive that there is a prompt on the POS system letting them know the customer has points to redeem. To me it looks like they are trained to not tell you unless you ask about it.
