About 진흥각
Jin-Hyoung-Gak is a renowned Chinese restaurant with a long history of serving delicious dishes. The restaurant is particularly famous for its Jjam-ppong and fried rice that comes with jja-jang sauce. The chef prepares authentic Korean-Chinese cuisine with generous portions and high-quality ingredients. The food was tasty and the service is great. The feel when you come in this cuisine is really nice, it feels like you are actually in Korea. This is a great place and is recommended greatly. The Samseon Jjambbong has pretty good seafood and a very clean soup. The noodles were a bit chewy because they were kalguksu noodles, but very chewy. The Jjajangmyeon is also unfamiliar because it is a kalguksu noodle (flat), but customers definitely want to try the Jjajang and sweet and sour pork next time. They renovated inside and customers enjoyed the new atmosphere.
The black bean noodles here are legit! The sauce was rich and savory with a great balance of sweetness and umami. I loved the chunks of caramelized onions and pork—super flavorful and comforting. Noodles had a nice chew and paired perfectly with the sauce.
Service was quick and kind, and everything came out hot and fresh. The atmosphere was cozy, Definitely a solid spot when you’re craving classic Korean-Chinese comfort food.
We are Koreans and me and my family came here to eat some Korean food. We’ve tried just made food like this before, and this was probably even better. The food was tasty, me and my family loved it here, and the service is great. The feel when you come in this cuisine is really nice. It feels like we are actually in Korea. Overall, this is a great place and I recommend this place greatly.
I haven't been to Yonggung yet... and today was my first time coming here by myself, so I could only order Jjambbong...
The noodles were a bit chewy because they were kalguksu noodles, but they were very chewy. I had Samseon Jjambbong, and I think the seafood was pretty good. It has no unpleasant taste and is a very clean soup. If you are looking for a spicy taste, you may be able to order “spicier” when ordering. (Normally, Jjamppong is not very spicy. It seems to be less spicy than Shin Ramyun?) Looking at other tables, the Jjajangmyeon is also unfamiliar because it is a kalguksu noodle (flat), but I definitely want to try the Jjajang and sweet and sour pork...read full review
